I went to cut my CMI hair today. Like finally please~!It's damn short now. Imagine 3cm below my ears.... =P Although it looks kind of weird and it will take some time to get use to it, I'm rather satisfied with my new hairdo. LOL. Maybe it's due to the really stuffy environment that I'm stuck in, which increases that urge in me to cut my hair short. Now I feel soooo much better. Haha. =) andandand... I took my flu vaccination too. I was freaking out in the clinic. I bet the doctor could see that since my face was all cramped together. LOL. The moment she went to collect the fluid, I turned away and didn't bother to turn back till I was given the green light to leave. And before she gave me the jab, she said "Bear wth me for awhile okay?" and I didn't reply. Haha. I seriously hate jabs! Thank God it's over and I won't need another jab for the next 1 year. =) Alright, it's 9.26pm now and I'm heading for bed. Got to wake up at 330am later to see my brother to the airport. =/ after which, it is straight to school. -_- Busybusyday. Nights! Sunday, March 30, 2008
Today's choir practice before mass was great even though my throat is still hurting quite a bit. I'm being place in the soprano session. Just like good old primary school days. Haha. =)So for the first time I sat at the choir wing during mass and was asked to sit at the first row(Not because I'm short okay!) with the main mic in between me and another lady! Stress la! Fearing that I might go off pitch, I kept on moving away from the mic. =P After which, we stayed back for another 45 minutes of practice before being dismissed. I really like the feeling of singing as a whole group.. Can't wait for next Sunday to come. =) Anyway, had a family dinner at Marriott Hotel yesterday. Farewell dinner for my brother before he leaves for States on Tuesday morning. Played 2 consecutive nights of mahjong with my cousin, bro and lynn... My dearest cousin is currently left heartbroken after his Gf of 5 years broke up with him. Seriously it came really unexpectly. But I know he will find someone better because he's really a goodie good guy! Just like my bro. LOL. No temper Mr gentleman! =D Alright, off to complete my work now. Sigh~! Good night! The trip is confirmed! =)I'm getting excited!! 8 more weeks! Although on the way to City Hall when we were in the train, I got pranked by Veron and Godma which left me emo-ing. Seriously! It wasn't funny. They looked so real and the "news" came too sudden, I didn't know how to react. So I just sms-ed JQ, not wanting to have any eye contact with them because I was really disappointed la. But Thank God it was just a prank. If not................ *phew* Lucky! Bought the book "P.S I Love you" from MPH just now. Many people said the book is a lot better than the movie. Hopefully man. Okay! I really want to sleep early tonight. It's 8.48pm now. My dear boy came back to school today because it was his cousin, Darius's birthday! =DThe moment he walked into the school, some of the teachers were like "Ohhhh!! Amanda de baobei is here!" and as expected I couldn't stop smiling. Haha. He gave me a hug and I hurried got Joey to help me take a photo with him before assembly started.  Dear Edison is a Class Monitor! =) I was on cloud nine! Yes! He totally made my day. LOL. =D Anyway, I've joined the church choir. It came very sudden. Long story so I'm kind of lazy to type it out. This means I have to reach Church at 915am every Sunday for practice after which join the choir for 11am mass. Gosh! I don't see myself waking up so early on Sunday. *Shakes head* Heading down to city hall after school tomorrow with the colleagues to book tickets for our Thailand trip. Woohoo~! Excited! andandand 3 more weeks to Guangzhou/HK trip. Lalalalala~! Okay! I'm seriously lacking of sleep and I've told myself that I'll jump into bed early tonight. It's already 1112pm. Time to go! Went for SPOP Finals at the indoor stadium yesterday night.Hmmm... nothing much to comment about it. Haha. The reason I was there was only for my likes... Like XIAO JING TENG! Woohoo~! He's good lah. Other than his performance and our own self entertainment, the rest of the time was quite boring. Yes! It's that sad. Anyway, I still can't shake off my excitement of being able to see him. Please come to Singapore in May to xuan chuan.... Please~! =] Yes! That's Nat before and after makeup.. LOL.   Diya~!  XIAO JING TENG!!! =D   Alright.. enough of SPOP... Moving on...... Today we had Easter celebration in school. Time flew really fast... In a blink of an eye, it was 3pm. Haha. I love celebrations. LOL. Children in church.   Children with their paper egg after Egg Hunt. Peace A/B.   Children colouring their paper egg.  Children with their coloured egg. Peace A/B.   The kids were each given a hard boiled egg to bring home as well. I'll upload a video of them here when I'm free. Hmmm... That's about it. Got to go rush my lesson plan now. I shall be more productive. =) Oh yah! My Thailand trip with Godma, Veron and maybe/most prob Grace in end May is more or less comfirm. I'm baptised and comfirmed! =)I'm an official Roman Catholic! I've joined the family of Christ! 3 and a half hours of service was good, great, fantastic! No amount of words can describe how I'm feeling now. I'll just smile to sleep tonight. Pictures of my baptism ceremony will be up once I get hold of it... Today marks Good Friday.2000++ years old marks the day when man, including you and I, turned our back against the Creator, scorned at Him, humiliated Him, spited at Him, flogged Him with spikes & whips, put a Crown of thorns on Him, dress Him in purple robes, make the King of kings carry His own cross & crucify Him. I reflected upon today- as it's not merely a holiday to rejoice about but I just thought what would I be, without Him dying on the cross for me and you. If Jesus had not paid the price for the sins of mankind, we're bound for destruction. Thank You for the Cross, Thank You for the price You've paid. Thank You for bearing all my sins & shame. Went for Holy Thursday mass just now.My sister tagged along, after which we had late dinner at compasspoint before heading home. Suppose to go for church visitation after mass but................ . Anyway, Godma bought a Rosary and a Miraculous Medal for me as a gift for my baptism. =D  Will be attending Good Friday mass in the late afternoon tomorrow followed by baptism rehearsal. Yes! It's the Holy Week!!School has started but I'm still in my holiday mood. Waking up in the morning has never been easy and now that the holiday has just ended, it's ever harder. -_- It's the second day of school and things are moving quite steadily. Hopefully it remains smooth sailing for the rest of the term. =) I'll be busy attending church for the rest of this week due to Easter Triduum which includes "Holy Thursday", "Good Friday" and "Easter Vigil". andandand on top of the list, I'm going to get baptise and confirm this Saturday! Like finally!! I'm really looking forward to it and nothing can describe how excited I am. Come to think if it, I've come a long way. Seriously. =/ I'm really glad through this one year of RCIA, I grew so much closer to God. He who loves me, died for me and you on the cross. Let's praise and worship him. =) Not only that... because of God's good planning, I found a godmother. Not just an ordinary someone but someone I feel really blessed to have. From being total strangers to a relationship which I currently treasure alot, I thank God for his sending and I can't ask for anything better. There's so much I wish to say but I think I'll leave it for some other time. Although there are still times of awkwardness which at this point of time is quite natural, I know for sure it will get better. (Woah! It's rhymes) Hahaha. Thank you for being so supportive even behind the scene. I LOVE YOU GODMA! I really do. LOL. What are you thinking? I love her like how any goddaughter would love her godmother. Attended Joey's 21st Birthday Party yesterday.The theme is quite obvious. Yellow. LOL. Meiyun left early while I stayed with the teachers till he cut his cake. Didn't take many photos because birthday boy was busy like a bee while no one else would be interested to cam whore with me. Sad case but what to do. Haha. I like this picture alot but then the lighting is kind of sucks! =[      . Anyway, 1 week of March holidays is officially coming to an end. Oh noooooo... Not done with my lesson plan yet. Yes! Kill me! I'm soooo not looking forward to the start of term 2. With field trip and PTC along the way, I feel my stress level rising by the minute. Can't wait for Guangzhou/HK trip although I know I'll miss my kids like crazy. Yes I'm missing them! Haha. . Okay! Enough crap. It's 430pm now and I'm going to have my lunch. After almost 7 hours of training...I'm mentally and physically exhausted. But overall, training was GREAT! Now that the holidays are about to end, I don't know when will be the next time I'll touch my racket again. =( . Anyway thanks to the bus trip from Xinmin to TK, I had the opportunity to interact more with Catherine. It's like I always see her when I go down for training but never once did we really talk, so I'm happy with our progress today. LOL. It's always good to make new friends you know. Haha. I love sharing lame jokes. =D . Alright and presenting to you... My most respected and beloved coach. Miss Tan! She's the best best best best best! She rocks!  Taken after training at TK. XW came to join us for the afternoon training and you should hear how noisy she was today. *Cover ears* Arghx! Haha.  . Oh ya! Miss Tan told me that Aviva Open will be held in June! Everybody say "Yeah!!!!" Suddenly I can hear Boonsak calling out to me. Hahaha. This is what happens when you are too tired, you will start imaginating things. LOL. About 2 more months!! Lalalalala~! . Okay! My eyes are seriously not cooperating anymore. I might doze off in front of the computer anytime. Body is going to ache really badly tomorrow. FOR SURE! I'm so sore today.But anyhows, badminton was good fun even though JQ last minute pangseh-ed me because she wasn't in tip top condition. =P We played "Dog & Bone" for the remaining half an hour of training and gosh~! The girls can really SCREAM! Not that I'm not aware of that but today they were much louder than usual. For a moment I thought I might go deaf. Haha. Seriously looking at them makes me think of tpss days. Especially moments when they kept complaining about being tired from doing drills, multiple shutters and trying different ways to cut short the torment. So like us. LOL. Ahhhhh.. Now I feel so old. The girls are currently 13 and 14 years old respectively, which means I'm about 7 years their senior! Wa lau! =/ andandand no one believe that I'm a teacher! The girls just laugh out loud at my reply. Sad. Badminton again tomorrow. From 830am to 530pm. Helping out at Xinmin in the morning till 1230pm followed by TKGS. I can foresee that tomorrow night I'll collaspe in bed much much earlier than usual. Haha. WA LAU! Just recieved a bad news! My brother won't be around for my 21st!!!! He's flying to States on the 1st of April for 7 months!!! *Cries* He's in charge of booking my chalet etc..... Most importantly, he's in charge of paying!!!! LOL. No la! I just want him to be around because he hasn't been actively involved in my birthday for a few years now. Ahhhhh..... On a happier note, my dad just bought me two Polo Jeans Collar Tee! Woohoo. Went ice skating with JQ at Leisure Park today.The whole place has been transformed and I think it is definitely going to be a hot spot in the future when travelling there becomes more convenient. So yup, ice skating was good even though I ended up having a blister which hurts quite badly. There weren't many people skating so we were able to roam about more freely as compared to the one in Jurong. =)     . After which, we went Kbox. Like FINALLY!! I had the urge to sing since godknowswhen. XW came to join us half way through and we sang all the way till 11pm. Lalalala~! I want more Kbox session!! .  . Gosh~! I think I'm enjoying too much during this March holidays. School is starting in 4 days time and I'm still not done with my lesson plans!! *Tsktsktsk* Bad! Hmmm.. but then I'm happy that I'm enjoying my well deserve break to the fullest. LOL. And it's not ending just yet because I already have plans till the end of this week, so most probably when school reopens I'll be so dead! Especially now that I'm sleeping at 5am almost everyday!!!! *Slaps hand against forehead* . Alright, tomorrow JQ and I are helping Miss Tan at TKGS's training. I miss holding my racket!! Ahhhhh! Yes, talking about badminton..... There wouldn't be Aviva Open this year due to Beijing 2008! Which means I have to wait another year to see my BOONSAK PONSANA! OH NO! =( Any kind soul willing to fly me to Beijing? . Okay! Enough of day-dreaming. I'll meet him in lalaland instead. Got to sleep early today if not I might faint in court tomorrow! She's back! She's back! =D Went to the airport to welcome dearest JQ back to Singapore together with Nat and XW. That girl dao-ed us(alright more like dao-ed me!) while collecting her luggage at the belt, causing an over-excited me who was waving to get her attention, looking like an idiot =( But it's alright. I'm more than happy just being able to see her(even from afar). Wahahaha. *Big wide smile* =D Can you feel the love? LOL. *Don't puke* Then it was slacking at XW's home till about 8pm and then off to Nat's place to get the car. After all the brainstorming on where to go, we finally settled down at Siglap's Gelare. =) Waffle at half price every Tuesday! =P  In the car.......   When the windows are not close....... 0.o  Okay! Woke up at about 1 this afternoon.A great way to start my March holidays. It's time I get back the amount of sleep I've been missing the past weeks! =) At about 3, Nat msn-ed me then we exchanged a few more smses and ta-daaaaa a dinner and movie date was set. =) Dine at Pasta Mania as usual. Well known Chicken Sausage lovers, with extra chilli and more sauce please.. *Lick lips from right to left* Yummilicious! =P  Anyway, "JUNO" is a movie worth watching. It has successfully captured the spirit of a teenager. The awkwardness of adolescence, the slight confusion of feelings and attitude and the vulnerability that lies in all of us. What else? The soundtrack is great. The cinematography was good. What more can you ask for? *2 thumbs up* =D After which, it was back to Nat's place to chill. and what's new... Cam whore! Narcissist in action! =)   Left her place close to 12 and while I was on board the bus back home, smses came flooding my phone and in the midst of reading and replying, I missed my stop! So I ended up alighting at safra and strolled home. =/ . Alright in another few hours time, JQ will be back in Singapore and I'll be at the airport giving her a warm welcoming back reception! LOL. Weeeeeeee...~! One more day!Had a dinner date with the Secondary School clique at Century Square Jack's Place. I was late. Really late. Haha. Took a nap when I reached home and ended up having difficulties pulling myself out of bed. This morning upon waking up, I recieved a text from dearest JQ who is currently away in Germany.Although she's on the other side of the Earth, she is still as irritating - like always. As expected, I've fallen sick.Currently downing doctor's medication. So much of wanting to rush my work, now I'm feeling sleepy and I need to rest. Thank God I'm already half done. =] There will be a retreat at the Nativity Retreat Centre tomorrow from 945am till 6pm. Including mass. Which means about 9 hours gone from my precious Sunday. *Cries*
