Feeling extremely tired now.I stayed over at Meiyun's place yesterday to continue making our children's day cookies. Both of us didn't get to sleep at all because we only manage to complete everything at 7am this morning!! =P Alright I shall update about thursday first.... The K2 classes had an excursion to SengKang Primary School. Although the school is only a short walk away but it was raining very heavily so we had the benefit of getting a coach to fetch us there. Haha. =) The tour around the school wasn't as fantastic as I expected it to be. Not even near. Seriously I felt the school can definitely do a better job. My afternoon class only got to visit their canteen, dentist, science lab and the library. That's all for a 2 hours program. How sad... But then kids are still kids, they said they enjoyed themselves! Prison break to a new environment, I guess. =) My morning class.      My afternoon class.       Okay! Next..... Children's Day Celebration. Yup, the kids were allowed to wear their party clothes today. .Assembly.Distributionof gifts.Childrenliturgyatchurch.miniclassparty.gamesinthehall.gamesatthecarpark.Home. Anyway, Thank God my kids liked what I gave them. They were very surprised to see their names on the cookies. Haha.   Morning Class.   Afternoon Class.   I believe the kids from both sessions enjoyed themselves. The many gifts they recieved, the many laugh they had up in the hall and the freedom to run about. What more can they ask for? Hahahaha. There's more I want to say but MY BRAIN IS OFFICIALLY SHUT DOWN! MY EYES CAN HARDLY OPEN! And I'm starting to dose off in front of the computer. Ahhhhhhhhhh. Going to sleep now. Nights all! Mass production! 106 cookies to bake in total. Definitely won't finish by today.... Having our 2nd round tomorrow and I'm still considering whether to stay over at her place. Hmmm....... 0.0 . Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration in school.       At night, I had a dinner and movie date with Natalie and Jiaqi. Cafe Cartel followed by "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry." The movie was quite hilarious with some homosexual content. Hmmm... can consider catching it if you're free. Haha. =)      Alright. I'm off to complete my lesson plan now. Quarrelled with my mum just now.Seriously I think she's just scolding me for the sake of wanting to show her authority even though it's obvious that I'm right. The reason this dispute started was because my mum wanted me to deliver some mooncakes to my brother's gf but I had lots of work to do and I was rushing back to Tampines(She knew it.), so I refused. The fact that she was happily relaxing at home watching tv and reading the newspaper, I believe she had more time to spare than I do right? So I told her and she started shouting. As expected, she say I have no "gong xian" to the family. There's like no link but she is always saying the same old thing. I'm so used to it. She also said "If you are so busy, why are you waking up later than all of us?" Hellooooo!!! I woke up at 10am to prepare for church while they woke up at 9 plus la! They could have woke up later but they choose not to and why in the world would I want to wake up so early on weekends when I'm already waking up extremely early on weekdays?!? Reasonable?!? Both of us were fuming and I bet she wanted me out of her sight immediately so she went back into her room and slammed the door! As you can see, what right does she have to scold me when she was just plain lazy to leave the house! I mean I'll definitely help her if I'm free but sadly, I'm not! And after sooooooooooo much of defending myself, *sigh* I still delivered it for her... Moral of the story: Don't bother argueing when you are still going to help deliver because you just wasted MORE time! -_- Drove over to lynn's place then went back to SK and bus-ed to Tampines. What did I benefit from it? NOTHING! When I went home to put the keys, my mum was sleeping lah! Tell me how not to be angry? TELL ME HOW???? Argh! Head-ed to TM Reds to cut my hair. I've been having a week of bad hair day so no matter what I had to make my way down to the salon. And yup! It is soooo much better now. =) Just had my dinner with the Lim family and hopefully I'll be able to complete my work before soccer starts! It's going to be a BUSYbusyBUSYbusyBUSY week! We tend to miss the joy and happiness of what we have when we are caught up in the problems of life and thinking about what is not there yet or what could be better. We don’t have to realise what we have only when it is taken from us. We should cherish everything good that is present in our lives now to the fullest. Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. . A lot of the time we lament how something is lacking in our lives but the thing is, everyone lacks something. But what about the things you do not lack? Sometimes when I catch myself complaining of what I wish I could have, I reprimand myself for being so selfish and remind myself of the many people around the world who are a million times less fortunate than I am. . Today, I am grateful for life.
